Soni Sori's cries will become history

Do you have a daughter?
Let's for a moment name her Soni Sori.

The police capture her and drag her, while she cries and calls for your help,
"Papa, save me".
You stand and watch, while your innocent daughter is being dragged by the police.
At this moment do you stand helpless or enraged?
What do you feel like doing at this point?
And in those moments when the police is dragging your innocent daughter,
I want to know what runs through your head in that mental state.
About the "Indian Democracy", "Indian Constitution" and "Great Indian Cultural Heritage".
Do not turn your head away.
Respond while you look into my eyes.
Your daughter is still looking for your help with hope,
And you are not responding to her cries?

Soni Sori's cries will become history.
But they won't stop haunting us.
Forgive us Soni Sori,
Our democracy is not for you,
Not the constitution, not the politics, and not our piety, it is all only ours.
You are an Adivasi, and for you are the beatings and being dragged on the coarse earth,
You will lay in prison for your life and cry for your three children,
And die a quiet and unknown death one day.
"Soni Sori, my child",
I bid you a last farewell on behalf of the Indian State.
After the complete annihilation of the Adivasis when our Prime Minister,
Stands on the Red Fort and asks for forgiveness,
Then please forgive us from heaven Soni Sori,
Goodbye, Goodbye.
